The movie is based on the novel Headhunters by Jules Bass. Gomez character is based on a character that is mistaken as a wealthy British heiress and is whisked away to Monte Carlo with her fellow co-starts Katie Cassidy from the television show Melrose Place and Leighton Meester from the television series Gossip Girl.

According to a recent Face Book posting by Gomez filming should rap up in the next two weeks. The film is slated for theatre release on February 11, 2011.
